What is BEST

BEST stands for Board of European Students of Technologyy and is a european network for students of technology (what else ;-)). Apart from many other things BEST organizes many technical courses all over europe. During these courses, about 20-30 people from many different countries come together for 2 weaks to get to know each other, have classes (it's an academic project after all ;-)), and of course: HAVE FUN!

My way to BEST

My way to best was actually a very short one. I (conciously) heard from BEST for the first time in an email sent to every student of my university. I had no idea at that time what BEST was, it just sounded cool to spend two weaks during the summer holidays abroad with a lot of nice people. So I followed the link given in the email just to find out that there was an enormous number of courses to choose from and, more importantly, that there was just one weak left until application deadline. So I spent a lot of time in that next weak to write three applications and, on the last day, sent them away. A few days later I got a reply from BEST: I was indeed chosen for a course!
